Restorative Yoga – Testimonials
I am loving teaching Restorative Yoga. All that I am, all that I have been learning, doing over the years seems to flow through this practice as well. Even though I have started teaching Restorative Yoga recently, it does not feel new to me. It seems as if I have been teaching this for a long time.
I decided to train as a Restorative Yoga teacher because I love this practice so much, I have been attending a weekly class regularly for more than a year now. I have also been deepening my yoga practice with various workshops in the last few months. Then I decided to go on a Restorative Yoga retreat in 2016 to learn and receive more from this practice. Not realizing that the workshop was also to learn how to teach Restorative Yoga. After some encouragement from my wonderful Restorative Yoga teacher, I decided to train as a Restorative Yoga teacher to be able to share this wonderful practice with the people around me. I would like you to benefit from this wonderful practice, just as I have been benefiting from it – nourishing myself at all levels, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
I am so glad that I have started to teach Restorative Yoga. Teaching seems to be deepening and nourishing my own practice profoundly. I am loving teaching Restorative Yoga.
Please do let me know if you would like to attend a Restorative Yoga class with me.
If you have attended a Restorative Yoga session with me, and would like to share some feedback, it would nourish me even more. You might also help inspire someone to do some Restorative Yoga to restore their wellbeing!
After several years’ break from yoga I decided to try Restorative Yoga with Mamta and have so far enjoyed three sessions. Initially I was a bit worried I wouldn’t manage a full hour and a half, after my long break, but I needn’t have worried. This type of yoga very much lives up to the description – it restores you. In fact, I’d go as far as to say I’ve been feeling restored, body and soul, after the sessions. It’s gentle, peaceful and very subtle in many ways, as though the body simply “does the work for you”, in the different postures, allowing you to emerge refreshed, replenished and restored afterwards. I’ve found this type of yoga particularly beneficial for working through blocks and even difficult emotions, and Mamta is a very caring and nurturing teacher. I would highly recommend restorative yoga as an excellent tool for self-care.
